It can not hurt to learn Chinese

It is the day and age, many people are learning a second language, third or fourth yet. There are probably many reasons to learn languages ??other than their own. Some people just love to learn about foreign cultures, and therefore choose to study a foreign language help them understand a culture even more. Others learn a language like Spanish or Chinese to help prepare for a career that is expected to have or to prepare traveling to a foreign country.

If you are thinking of starting to learn another language, regardless of age or other languages ??they have learned, you should consider learning chinese. There are many reasons to learn Chinese. One of the biggest reasons that I, as an artist, loved to learn Chinese was due to the art form beautiful view of the written language of China. When I entered my first chinese class could not believe how amazing and wonderful it looked on the board. In fact, as class week passed and I was frustrated by my lack of ability, which was the physical beauty of chinese writing that kept me going.

Another good reason to start learning Chinese is that the nation and people of China are certainly rises to the most powerful people in the world. Business, travel and trade are increasing with China, so it will not hurt to start learning Chinese. In fact, China could well become the language of another world and be used as often as English. If ever given international business or trade, or if you just like to travel, then think seriously about how to learn Chinese might be beneficial for you.

chinese writing
I heard someone say in response that the Japanese had the misfortune to adopt Chinese style of writing?

I can not remember who was, so I do not know if he was Japanese or Native American, or some other type. But he said it is unfortunate that Japan adopted the system chinese writing, but with their own variations, and that would be better to use the English alphabet. I've never heard of such a thing before, but there is some truth in what Japan feels that way, or is just that kind of opinion?

Whoever said that is likely to be thinking only of himself American. Not true. An alphabet is not suitable to replace the Japanese syllabary or kanji.

These are all valid methods for learning chinese although they can not speak personally for osmosis system (I think that is learned by playing a Chinese MP3 just before going to bed though). The point here is that immerse you in learning the Chinese language. To learn Chinese intensively, even to listen to Chinese radio stations or watch Chinese films. I seem to hear the Chinese news very useful – you get a good mix of different stories and themes are constantly changing. If you have the facility to record that you can play with the Chinese to his dictionary of the language concerned. Even if you do not get all this, you will be surprised how much sinks if you do it regularly.

This is the essence of the immersion technique and it works great, but is clearly not practical for everyone. The expenditure in question is a stretch for some, the time commitment is another drawback and the availability of suitable courses can prevent some from taking chinese classes – although I encourage you to do so if possible.

So if we have to make a choice of learning style in China should be? Not long ago have been limited to be good to learn from a book, tape or a class. Now we have the additional resources from the PC and Internet is a revolution in teaching.

For the first time you can buy a single program that will allow us to listen to MP3 music in the car on the train or just walking. The same program can be challenging games and puzzles on your PC and give us written exercises. Just needs a physics professor to be the complete educational resource.

So if you're looking for a unique method to learn to speak chinese fluently I recommend one of the systems available for download online. If you have been looking China on a CD will probably have to see the price tags in the range of $ 300 but there is much more accessible and programs more widely available to a third the price or less.

I spent several years and some of their tax dollars, trying to learn Chinese, so I have to say something about a new campaign to get the language in U.S. schools and schools.

Asia Society just put a report (see website internationaled.org) on so that more Americans can learn Chinese. There was a world conference on the topic last month in Beijing. Chinese language teaching is obviously a good idea. China is our main trading partner, after Canada and Mexico. The country reminds me somewhat of America in the 1870s. You are recovering from horrible national events, getting stronger, with the potential to be the most important nation in the world. China, along with Arabic, should be among our priorities foreign language.

But let me – just this once, because I do not remember the pain – tell you that learning Chinese will not be easy.

China Culture – Its philosophy, its art, its code of conduct, food and literature – is one of the wonders of human civilization. It is so human and so productive that I share some of fears that increased economic and military rise of China in some Americans.

But the Chinese, despite all its good points, have a language very inefficient and difficult in some respects. Americans willing to pursue the worthy goal of learning Chinese should be ready for a long, hard march.

Cruel people are saying at this point: Mathews may have been too stupid or too lazy to master Chinese, but the Chinese themselves seem to be handling their language fine. That's true. It is an example of the drive and ambition of the 1.3 million people most of them have become fluent and literate in a language that includes four tones and a written language based on ideographs that give few clues to pronunciation and sometimes drive typists mad.

It is also true that having to learn thousands of ideographic characters instead of two dozen Western alphabet has forced the education of Chinese in a deep, narrow groove. Students Chinese teachers have come to rely on memorization, the way he learned to read. It is no less creative thinking in schools as a result, some scholars believe.

Mandarin chinese language: Why You Must Learn Chinese

Parents in America are increasingly supporting the choice for their children to learn Chinese. They are aware of the rise in China’s economic development, and understand that their child will have the best opportunity to conduct business when they are older, after they graduate, by being able to speak Mandarin and learn to write Chinese.

In the study of mandarin chinese, students attain much more than just focus on words, grammar and character writing – they also gain more of a global attitude. It has been assessed that children in their elementary years who learn the Chinese language have expanded their intercultural views. There has also been a direct correlation in China’s growing role in global affairs and the availability of Chinese language studies offered in schools.

While it’s important to note the growing number of Chinese companies hitting the headlines, it is China’s relevancy in various global affairs that allows for Westerners to understand the impact China is having on the world. Beijing not only successfully hosted the 2008 Olympics but has also saturated the press with their constant medal wins. Both these points are critical for the internal image of China as well as how the world views the nation.

There used to be a time when learning another language was good for only certain careers. Today, parents realize that familiarity of other cultures, including learning a second language, is important regardless of the career due to the globalization of the economy. In a globalized workplace, there are multi-national employees that come together to bring an expanded vision of ideas for the marketplace. Parents are realizing that their children will be working in a team made up of ethnically diverse people and will need to expand their knowledge of world cultures in order to stand the competition.

learn easy chinese
What language is easier or more beneficial to learn, Chinese or Japanese?

I’m majoring in Government with a minor in international relations and plan to go to graduate school for business specifically in the field of International business/finance. I already speak Spanish and wanted to learn another language. Which would be easier to learn Chinese or Japanese or which would be more beneficial?

Well, in the field of international business, both Chinese and Japanese are playing important roles. For my part, Chinese will be my choice. The reason of my choice is that, with the rapid development of China, China is becoming stronger and stronger and there are more and more people learning chinese. Chinese will become an important tool for the exchange of ideas that have adapted to the needs of human social life, so Chinese will be the best choice for us, since a lot of people hold the idea that Japanese is hard to learn. If you have other questions related to Chinese, just feel free to contact me at jennifer.zhu@echineselearning.com(www.eChineseLearning.com). I will be glad to help you.

Chinese Medicine Training Today

Find Chinese medicine training in the United States and Canada. Today, Chinese medicine training is readily available in America. Students drawn to the healing arts will find that several acupuncture and Oriental medicine schools offer a variety of Chinese medicine training programs.

While a number of these academic courses include practical Chinese medicine training in Qi gong, Tai Chi and Tuina, there are a great many of alternative medicine and conventional medicine schools that have been or have begun offering extensive Chinese medicine training in acupuncture and TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine).

As both a complementary and alternative healing treatment, Chinese medicine training is critical to potential healers seeking to become certified and/or licensed practitioners of the art. In modern academic institutions, Chinese medicine training curriculums encompass a wide array of health classes, including but not limited to studies in shiatsu, acupressure, acupuncture, Chinese medicine philosophies and theories, herbal medicine, moxibustion (cupping), Asian bodywork therapies, meridian therapy and other related instruction.

In addition to standard curriculum, students participating in one of a number of Chinese medicine training programs will find that some of the more advanced subjects of study (i.e.., Master’s and/or Doctorate programs) will include lessons in Chinese medical terminology (often in Mandarin), pathology, physiology, anatomy, chemistry and pharmacology.

Students, who desire to enroll in degreed courses (such as acupuncture and Oriental medicine degrees) will discover that many Chinese medicine colleges and schools often require standard prerequisites prior to enrollment. Requirements may include formal education and training at a conventional college, university or technical school. It is always wise to carefully examine all academic requirements prior to applying for any number of Chinese medicine training programs; as schools may vary in this aspect, as well as tuition, program lengths, accreditation, etc.

Other Chinese medicine training programs commonly include certificate programs in Chinese herbal medicine, Tai Chi, Tuina and acupressure – to name a few. Students choosing Chinese medicine training in a variety of massage therapies may qualify to sit for the national certification exam to become certified massage therapists (again, this depends on course curriculum and whether school meets state and/or national educational requirements).

If you (or someone you know) are interested in finding appropriate Chinese medicine training to help attain your dream job, let education within fast-growing industries like massage therapy, cosmetology, acupuncture, oriental medicine, Reiki, and others get you started!
